A single WordPress installation. One Pro license activates the Pro features on one site. If your club operates more than one site that runs Burgee, you'll need a license for each.
Neither. The free edition is fully functional and free forever — including all scoring (Time-on-Distance and Time-on-Time), RRS A5.2/A5.3, tiered throwouts, standings, and every shortcode. Pro adds automatic result emails and priority support.
WordPress sends email through your web server by default, which often lands in spam or doesn't arrive — this affects every plugin that sends mail, not just Burgee. For dependable delivery we recommend routing your site's email through a dedicated sending service, which takes a few minutes with a free SMTP plugin (we like FluentSMTP) connected to a free sending tier such as Amazon SES or Brevo. A club's result-email volume fits well within the free tiers, so there's typically no added cost.
Pro is an annual subscription, per website. It renews automatically each year so your Pro features keep working without interruption, and you can cancel anytime.
Nothing is deleted. All your seasons, boats, results, and settings stay exactly as they are. The Pro-only features simply pause, and they reactivate instantly on your existing data the moment a license is active again.
